Mark Thomas Rhodes (born March 3, 1998), known professionally as MTStreets, is an American singer-songwriter, pop artist, and record producer. He makes pop music for people in pain and is known for his introspective songwriting and raw-thought-provoking-vocal style, MTStreets gained acclaim for blending a range of genres including pop, hip hop, R&B, rap, and trap.
His music lives at the intersection of Post Malone vibes and the bounce of Charlie Puth-like melodies. MTStreets first attained recognition in 2020 following the passing of his younger brother Beanie in December 2019. He released his debut single "White Roses."
MTStreets' debut album “Open Thoughts” (2020) was a commercial success and took listeners on a twelve-song, up and down ride of extremes mirroring the twelve months of highs, lows, and scattered thoughts of 2019. The album featured the hit singles “Who Started It” and “Places” as well as “Bop,” a collaboration with Beanie.
After Open Thoughts, MTStreets dropped his single, “Bourbon Street" which highlighted his struggle with alcohol and unhealthy behaviors.
His second album “#COLD4LIFE,” was a runaway success with the song "Mirror" leading the way on the charts.
MTStreets dropped a series of singles in early 2022 and released his third album, "Scratched," a collaborative with Nova Blisto on June 12th. His home base is now Miami where he is performing live during the second half of 2022 and readying himself for his first international tour in 2023.
When asked what he looks forward to most, he responds: “Headlining at Coachella. It’s been a long-time dream and someday soon that dream will come true.”
